The dragonfly has always facinated me from the small flying insect to the symbology involved. The dragonfly always appears in the summer in such carefree fun and freedom. To the Japanese they represent new light and joy. To me they represent the freedom to look forward to the possibilities of the future.

Jade also has a number of meanings. It has represented in the Chinese culture courage and wisdom as well as love and personal balance. It can also signify beauty, purity and long life.

Jade Dragonfly is the courage and freedom to look forward to the possibilities, and the passion to pursue them. Live life with passion, and remember to enjoy how you live.

Jade Dragonfly Jewelry is a culmination of this passion. I have always enjoyed creating with my hands, to see project from conception to completion. In the process of following my passion I discovered a love of wire, beads, glass and stone. JDJ is how I express my love of creation.
